Challengers Cup, India-Nepal U-19

Nov 11-17, India – Nepal U-19A has lost to India Yellow, Blue and Red in the ‘Challengers Cup’ held in Hyderabad, India from November 11-17. 

1st Match – Nepal U19A vs India Yellow 

In the first match, Nepal U-19A lost to India Yellow by 10 wickets. Batting first, Nepal were bowled out for 114 in 32.1 overs. Kusal scored 26 runs off 29 balls. Chasing the target, India C scored 120 runs in 21.1 overs without losing a wicket and easily won by 10 wickets. Kumar Saxena scored 52 * off 60 balls and Arjun Azad scored 67 * off 67 balls. 

2nd Match – Nepal U19A vs India Red 

Nepal U-19 lost to India Red by 107 runs in the second match. Batting first after losing the toss, India Red were all out for 247 in 48.2 overs. Dharub Jurel scored 74 runs off 65 balls. Sher Malla took 3 wickets and Akash Chandra took 2 wickets for Nepal. Chasing the target, Nepal U-19A lost 9 wickets in 50 overs and scored only 140 runs. Bishal Bikram KC scored 71 runs off 124 balls. 

3rd Match : Nepal U19A vs India Blue 

Nepal U-19A lost the third match to India U-19 Blue by 2 wickets. Batting first, Nepal U-19A were all out for 210 runs in 49.5 overs Rit Gautam scored 84 runs in 93 balls for Nepal. Chasing the target, India Blue (B) lost 8 wickets in 46.3 overs and scored 211 runs. Dibyans Josie scored 54 off 37 balls. For Nepal, Akash Chand took 4 wickets and Sagar Dhakal took 2 wickets.
