Meeting of Nepal Cricket Association focused on annual strategy and calendar concluded

Jan 6, Kathmandu – The second plenary meeting of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has been held at the association’s central office in Mulpani, Kathmandu today.

It has been decided to speed up the preparations for the tri-series to be held in Nepal under the World Cricket League and to conduct the camp of the national cricket team in Pokhara.

Similarly, the association has decided to move ahead by forming an executive committee. The meeting has also decided to allocate budget for the operation of the offices of the state and district associations.

The association’s tournament committee has submitted its annual calendar to the meeting.

Under the administrative structure, the process of appointment of GM and Finance Manager will also be taken forward.

Looking at the performance of 2019, the meeting has also decided to sign new contracts for the players in 2020.
