Anjali Chand’s record-breaking 6-wicket haul

Pokhara, December 2, 2019 : The opening game in Women’ cricket at 2019 south Asian games Nepal’s Anjali Chand create a new Women’s T20I bowling record after taking 6 wicket against Maldives Women’s cricket team. 

Maldivian team was all out in just 16 runs in the 10.1 over. Anjali Chanda leading the bowling department of Nepal conceded no run but sent 6 Maldivian players off to the pavilion in just 2.1 overs.

For Maldives, they were bowled out for a paltry total of 16 runs inside 11 overs by Nepal. The home side did not waste any time in chasing down that total as it took just 5 balls for them to reach the target.
