APF win record sixth Women’s PM Cup title

The Armed Police Force Club defeated Koshi Province by 11 runs to clinch the title of the Prime Minister Cup Women’s National Twenty20 Cricket Tournament.

The APF captain Sita Rana won the toss and decided to bat first in the final. Built around Indu Barma’s 53 off 47, APF posted 114-7 in 20 overs. In response, Koshi fell short of the target as they were limited to 103-4 in 20 overs. Koshi’s skipper Rubina Chettry played a captain’s knock of 62 off 58 deliveries but was unable to guide her team to victory after she was dismissed in the last over.

The win handed APF their record-extending sixth Women’s PM Cup title.
