Selectors

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is the national cricket governing body of Nepal and is seeking applications for the position of selectors for the selection of Senior and Junior National Cricket Teams for both Women and Men. The Selection Committee of CAN is formed to ensure a transparent, fair, and merit-based selection process for the development of the national cricket teams. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong cricketing background to contribute to the success of our national cricket teams.

Location: Mulpani, Kathmandu
Application Deadline: 7 August, 2024

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and select players for the national cricket teams.
• Collaborate with team coaches, management, and board members to ensure a transparent and effective selection process.
• Maintain open communication with players and provide constructive feedback and support.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have participated in international and national cricket tournaments organized by CAN.
• Should possess a strong cricketing background, either as a player or coach.
• Retired coaches and former international cricketers who have represented Nepal are eligible to apply and will be given priority.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills for interaction with players, coaches, team management, and the board.
• Must not be a current board member of any district, provincial, or central cricket association.
• All selection committee members should be citizens of Nepal.
